To no one's surprise, Measure M is back and approved for the November
ballot per Norberto Santana's afternoon post on the Register's website:
Measure M transportation tax goes back on the ballot. This half-cent
sales tax extension is for 30 years, this time, not 20. Norberto reports
the vote was unanimous (was Campbell there?) -- of course, all five
Supervisors are also OCTA Board members, with Mr. Campbell having
